A covid amulet to creatively protect during the coronavirus pandemic.
During the Coronavirus pandemic we have been asked to:
- wash your hands with soap and water often – for at least 20 seconds
- wash your hands as soon as you get home
- cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze
- put used tissues in the bin immediately and wash your hands
- not touch your face if your hands are not clean
Washing your hands with soap has become such a fundamental part of the current times.
Inspired by amulets through history that were thought to give protection against evil, danger, or disease I have made the covid amulet as creative protection for the current times.
A dolls hand cast in glycerine soap and tied with a green ribbon for balance and harmony.
